As well as being a freelance writer, Claire is an experienced Speech Pathologist/Speech & Language Therapist and Life/Business Coach who has travelled and worked in both Australia and the UK. Since Claire enjoys working with a variety of communication difficulties, she has had the privilege of being in specialist roles with children and adults.

Claire has her own Harley Street practice (Apex Ability Limited) in London, and welcomes all questions and requests.

Claire is passionate about her profession and thrives on opportunities to learn more within her capacity as a therapist. Professional development is something that she is keen to provide and gain, having presented and completed a long list of training.

Claire gains pleasure from encouraging others (both clients and colleagues) to improve to the best of their ability and reach their full potential. This is reflected in her own academic and community service achievements over the years.

With a musical background, Claire is interested is music therapy and has experienced how that complements speech-language pathology. She has attended international music therapy conferences and liaises with a worldwide network of professionals.

With additional skills in choral singing, she's gained specialist skills as a voice therapist, working with professional voice users (including teachers, coaches, radio announcers, call centre staff and singers).
